Bigland Decorating Services

Over the years I have developed my painting and decorating skills, through working on numerous projects for friends and family and getting additional help and advice from mates in the trade. This gave me the confidence to go that one step further and turn a hobby into a viable business, hence the formation of Bigland Decorating Services in October 2012. This was a big change in direction from my previous places of employment spent over twenty- seven years in production planning for a neckwear Company and warehouse management. However on the whole I have found my new role much more rewarding, although you have the added pressure of finding work for yourself, it has been a good feeling, being your own boss and gives me much more personal satisfaction, when a job is finished and your customer is delighted with the result. The business has been progressing through customer recommendations, some originally through Rated People and more recently My Builder.
